Jerkass: He isn't just literally prickly, he also acts prickly (at least while he's infected with the Zero Virus).Green Thumb: He's a Wood-type Navi, likely as an allusion to thorned plants like roses and brambles.Flat Character: In Stream, his prickly personality is gone and he's just there to fight evil.Ax-Crazy: At least when he's infected, as he's prone to spastic twitching throughout his boss fight and incredibly aggressive in general.Alternate Self: NeedleMan is the Battle Network counterpart of the classic Robot Master of the same name from Mega Man 3.A Navi operated by Yai's unnamed gardener.
